Sharing Awareness Through Education
A large part of the mission of Shelby’s Way involves education about mental health and suicide prevention. We believe that all suicide is preventable with the help of loving one another, community involvement and proper mental healthcare. In our society, it’s become taboo to speak genuinely about our feelings. We want to #EndTheStigma of sharing about mental health.
To accomplish this, our founder Mark Cain is available for speaking engagements. We have specific curriculum for high schools, churches, conferences, car shows and other events. We can provide educational materials, have video resources available (see below) and a booth to setup at the event if needed.
