**** Over $20,000 Raised ****
It’s quite…the feeling I have after the Hot Rod Hullabaloo is over and for some, this is how they feel all the time – quite, sad, alone with the feeling that no one cares or loves them.We all need family, friends and fellowship…its community that we look for and what we should strive for,Christ never intended any of us to be alone.Having events like homecomings, festivals, fairs, clubs, church, holidays and yes the Hot Rod Hullabaloo are the ways we bring folks together,to express and share with each other the spirit of community.
On Sept.5th 2015 Saturday of Labor Day Weekend Shelby’s Way Presented the 9th Annual Hot Rod Hullabaloo and Shelby’s Hot a Rod Get Together.Their were over 445 Pre-68 and Post-68 Hot Rods,Kustoms,Street Machines,Classic Pickups and Factory Muscle Cars in attendance. Our spectators were many over last year,we had 12 vendors on hand with a variety of merchandise for sale, food vendors providing hot dogs, chips, soda along with Kentucky Kettle Corn,Kona Ice snow cones and returning again this year J Renders BBQ with their Big Red Food Truck. We had plenty of entertainment with our Famous Downhill Hoodlum Race ( a gravity drop downhill race with homemade race carts, made from a car hood. )

Downhill Hoodlum Race takes place each year,I encourage everyone to build a racer.
