We are very Thankful that each year Cooper/Mastercraft Tire and Rep.Ken Hill along with S & S Tire Wholesale Division here in Lexington return as major sponsors for our Swingin’ Fore Shelby’s Way Golf Scramble and Kearney Hills Golf Links for hosting.This year for 2015 we teamed up with WKYT news to help us spread our message of Suicide Awareness and Mental Health thru their daily noon time news reports with Bill Bryant and Barbara Bailey.Aimee Kidd Reed is the Promotions and Public Service Manager for WKYT,she really supports Lexington by allowing organizations like Shelby’s Way to share information and events to our community and Central Kentucky.
This year we had eight teams of four from S&S Tire,FleetDoc Automotive Repair,WKYT,BPM Lumber from London Ky,Paul Miller Ford,All Star Sports in Winchester Ky,a second team from S&S Tire Wholesale and Solar Control Window Tinting here in Lexington owned by Casey Melvin.This years winning team and recipients of our Famous Chrome Plated V8 award was Team WKYT…Jeff Anderson and Randy Burke from WKYT along with Greg Laswell owner of Wing Zones and Dan Moore owner of Bluegrass Home Entertainment.We congratulate Team WKYT on this years win and all our other teams and company’s supporting Shelby’s Way and our Swingin’ Fore Shelby’s Way Golf Scramble.Please come out and play with us next year at Kearney Hills on April 26th,2016.We really hope to fill 18 Teams next year!
